Tanya & Matteo

When Tanya (florist of Oh Flora) got engaged, she had a clear, and very beautiful idea for what she wanted their big day to be. They spent many weekends travelling around the region trying to find the perfect environment, and they found it at Fig Tree Restaurant. To complement the venue, as well as the laid back, earthy vibes of Byron, we focused on bringing together different textures with a muted colour palette to create an invitation suite that introduced guests to the area and get them excited for the adventures to come.

Alex & Andreas

What happens when the girl behind the printing press gets engaged? We make a truly incredible work of art for their surprise wedding of course.

We were amongst the very few who knew their plans to tie the knot at their engagement party (even their parents and bridal party were left in the dark until the morning of) and after we got all the excitement out of our system, we got to work creating something beautiful.

We were strongly inspired by the Nishi Art Gallery where their ceremony would take place, as well as the hotel which would host their lunch reception. The bold muted colours, bold type mixed with modern hand-lettering on a variety of different materials created a very tactile experience for the guest.

Alex & Andreas’s wedding invitation suite is comprised of:
– custom hand-lettering
– black letterpress printing
- white ink printing
– vellum wrap with mustard sticker
– custom illustration of the couple printed on clear acrylic
– gold foil return address
– gold envelope lettering

Lauren & Adam

When we first met with the couple to talk about their stationery, we were a little scared we wouldn’t be able to give their enthusiasm for fun and colour justice - but in the end, it continues to be one of our favourite suites and we reckon we nailed it! To achieve the invitation look, we hand-painted the border, scanned it in and digitally printed the colour. Then we letterpress printed navy ink on top of the text which added texture and tactility to the piece. The other cards ran with the navy ink, but we digitally printed on turquoise and candy pink card.

Lauren & Adams invitation suite is comprised of:
– custom hand-lettering
– hand-painted and illustrated patterns
– letterpress and digital printing
– white ink envelope printing
– envelope addressing

Hamilton Island, qld Australia

Katie & Kristian

Katie and Kristian approached us at the end of 2016 for their engagement invitations, then we saw them through to Save the Dates, Wedding Invitations and Day-of Stationery at the end of 2018. Working together with clients like this is why we love doing what we do! Their design isn’t usually something we would get excited about because their elegant, refined look called for the use of beautiful fonts instead of our usual hand-lettering. However, their suite became a quick favourite. The use of letterpress and gold foiling added so much luxury to their design and we got to explore new ways of making a suite unique through the use of other elements such as custom wax seals, fold out invitations and hand-painted maps!

Tanya & Matteo

Tanya came to us with a beautiful mood board inspired by vintage Hollywood pool parties and a 70’s Palm Springs colour palette - and we got very excited! As a florist and stylist herself, we knew their engagement party was going to be serving all the vibes with flowing cocktails, salty sea breeze and fun live music. Our stationery design gives guests a taste of the experience to come starting as soon as they pull the envelope out of their mailbox and continued that feeling all the way to the big day with custom illustrated signage and more!

Tanya & Matteo’s Engagement Suite is comprised of:
– custom lettering
– block colours
– watercolour envelope addressing
– hand-painted pattern
– duplexing (digital printing on 300gsm paper, then gluing two cards together to make it extra thick and tactile.)

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN

Lisa & Tom

Strongly inspired by the beautiful reception venue, Miss Clara in the heart of Stockholm, we created this extensive suite exploring a bright urban colour palette. Keeping the design minimal and refined, we could introduce the colour without worry that it would be over the top. Each piece is double-sided printed with English and Swedish for their international guests. We then wrapped all the pieces in a vellum map of Stockholm sealed with a mustard sticker, then when opened, all the colour and excitement is revealed inside!

Lisa & Tom’s invitation suite is comprised of:
– digital and white ink printing
– hole punched RSVP tag
– multilingual double-sided printed
– thin natural twine
– printed vellum wrap

Bespoke Design

We love working closely with couples to create wedding stationery that perfectly encapsulates their relationship and their wedding day.

Bespoke Design is a little longer process than choosing a pre-existing collection suite, but this time is spent getting to know you and your vision then developing ideas and hand-made elements from scratch.

Approximate Design Time: 14 Working Days
Rounds of Changes: 5
Design Fee: $300

01.

EXPLORE AND ENQUIRE

02.
